Today is the second of three meals in under 30 minutes. A little something to keep us sane this holiday season and out of the local drive thru.
You’ll probably toss a can of soup at me for how easy this meal is to make.
To get the plate you see in the picture, you’ll need:
1 can of peas
1 can of beefy mushroom soup (2 cans if you are using more than 3 steaks & like your mashed potatoes with “gravy”)
potatoes ( and milk/butter/sour cream/potato flakes…however you make your mashed taters)
First step: If you’re making “real” mashed potatoes, peel, slice, and wash those to set on stove to boil.
Step Two: Now that the potatoes are going. Put the steaks in a deep skillet and cover with water. Set to boil.
Step Three: About 10 minutes in (when ever the potatoes are ready for mashing) drain the steak and return to pan, dump beefy mushroom soup in and turn heat to Low.
Step Four: Mashed the potatoes, pop open the can of peas and nuke, flip the steaks.
Step Five: Plate your meal. Make sure to smother your meat & potatoes with the remaining soup gravy in the pan… it’s the BEST part.
I hope you try this out and enjoy it as much as my family does
