We are inching closer and closer to Christmas and with it comes cooler weather and hurried days. The next three weeks I’ll share a quick, warm, and delicious supper recipe.
This week we’ll utilize the crock pot. Got to love the crock pot. Whether you’re a full-time payroll mom or a stay at home – always on call mom, the crock pot is undoubtedly our best friends. So let’s get to it.
Chicken breast (I used 6 for the 5 of us and this will leave you leftovers still)
Chicken broth (enough to cover the chicken in the crock)
1 can of Cream of Chicken
3/4 bag of egg noodles
Salt & Pepper to taste
Start out the day by loading up the crock with your chicken breast then cover with the chicken broth. Cook this on High for 6 hrs.
With a fork, break apart the breast while in the crock, add in the can of Cream of Chicken and stir. Dump in about 3/4 of the bag of noodles. Replace the lid and let cook for about 10-15 minutes until the noodles are tender.
Take a heaping spoonful and plop it onto a stack of mashed potatoes, serve with a veg & a biscuit and waa laa. Quick, super filling, and easy supper that took no more than 30 minutes of actual cooking.Worshipful Living and me on FB, in our Group called " Worshipful Homemaking". Here we will be sharing that and so much more as we work on building a community of Christian Women to walk with through day to day life....Even if we can't always leave home to do it.
