Last week we were reminded that God is always in control. Even in those moments that we think that there could be no possible way. God always as a plan and a reason for the situations we are in, because, He is in control This week we have been reminded that not only is God in control but that everything goes around in full circle when God is involved. ( This week we are reading in Genesis 41-45)
Joesph, though he may not have understood why he was going through all the things that he was, remained faithful to God. Giving God all the credit for all the great things in his life. Even when they rest of the world would have not have seen it that way. Joesph was being groomed to not only be something great and powerful. He was also being placed in the right place at the right time to help his very own family (who were in fact in the blood line of Jesus) and God’s chosen people.
Everything goes around in full circle when God is involved……
I have seen moments in my own life when I have felt useless and the events around me were causing me to forget my joy. These moments were not my greatest moment by any means. Yet, I have seen how God can use those moments for His glory. Because it is Him, who causes me to carry on and to continue the good fight. I have been on the side that Joesph has been in when you sit back and you finally see the big picture. What it was God had in mind all along.
Years back I was unsure why God caused me to answer the call to the alter long before my husband and yet I was able to see His plan go in full circle.
I was uncertain why He blessed me with twins whom I would later have to make some of the hardest decisions I would ever make as a parent….Yet, His plan was revealed.
There are days I wonder why He has given me 4 wonderfully wild children who test me to my outer limits and on that one I am excited to see His plans revealed.
The main things that we can pull from Joseph is that…..
God was with him….
Joesph was faithful even when things looked grim….
God is always in control……
Everything goes around in full circle when dealing with God……
Maybe you are having moments where you are at the cross roads… You are uncertain as to what it is that God has planned up ahead. Trust me you are not alone. I am right there with you. Yet, Joesph’s story is proving to be an amazing reminder to me. A reminder that God does not forget the faithful. He does not turn His back on His people and that God allows us to walk away victorious. Be encouraged sweet friend and know that you are loved…..
